Self-Love Giveaway

Valentine's Day maybe over, but Self-Love is everyday!

Have I ever told you how much I love blogging?  I started this blog 5 years ago, because I wanted to share some of my favorite things and explore new things too! 

But last year I did not blog very much at all, because I have been leading a double life...

In my other life, I am a Body Love + Pleasure Advocate. I spend my days helping women to enjoy, explore, and hear the wisdom of their own bodies.

I work with mothers, wives, and sisters who struggle to love and accept their bodies. Women who feel uncomfortable in their own skin. Women who do not like the woman they meet in the mirror each morning. Women who often feel dissatisfied, disconnected, and disinterested in life, in their relationships,  and in themselves. 

My work is about having shame-free conversations about subjects that should be shameless. And I am committed to doing this work, because I want every woman to love herself, love her body, and love her life. 

Through this work, I am living my purpose.

In honor of the month of love, I curated a list of my favorite self-love goodies. This list is comprised of the sights, tastes, sounds, scents, and textures that light me up, slow me down, and help me to feel like my best self.

    I try to count my blessings every morning as I talk with God.

  5. I have sooo many ways, it really depends on my needs at the time. Walking, gaming, reading, singing, meditating, sometimes just a good old-fashioned nap, a treat and some netflix, connecting with friends online <3

  6. I like to turn on my record player, light a candle, and do some stretches while I drink warm lemon water while the sun rises. Most days. When I can pull myself out of bed.

  7. I listen to a meditation, do yoga, or mindfully sit in stillness with a cup of tea for my self care. Oh and bubble baths. Lots of bubble baths.

  8. I try to take time for myself, it may be just reading a book or watching a good show but i need that time to myself once in while.

  10. I try to take a little time for myself, sometimes I read or give myself a manicure.

  11. I try to make time for myself and do a really good face mask followed by a nice bath.

  12. I like to practice self-love by taking time to myself to do the things that make me happy, like shopping, going for a massage, getting my eyebrows waxed, etc.
